Leader of home healthcare in Europe*, we provide care for people with chronic diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, sleep apnea, respiratory failure, diabetes and Parkinson's disease. Our support is subject to a medical prescription.

Specialty ingredients
Through our subsidiary Seppic, we develop and supply specialty ingredients with unique properties (excipients and active ingredients) for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, nutrition and vaccines markets. This offering is the fruit of unique scientific expertise in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, immunology and natural product processing. The aim is to become a benchmark in specialty ingredients for the health and beauty industries, with a focus on sustainable development and the protection of biodiversity.
Our milestones

Our experience in Healthcare began with the supply of oxygen to acute care hospitals, particularly in surgery and intensive care, and we have actively contributed to the process of medicalising the oxygen supply and logistics chain to guarantee its quality and safety for the patient. -
By taking care of patients undergoing oxygen therapy when they leave hospital, Air Liquide has initiated its homecare activity. The homecare services were then extended to other respiratory treatments to support people living with sleep apnea or respiratory insufficiency.

We then broadened the range of our healthcare services to address a number of major public health issues, such as diabetes and Parkinson's disease. All these home treatments involve the use of a medical device and require a support plan for patients and their family.
